Temple Grandin

Temple Grandin (born 1947) is one of the best-known names in the autism scene as well as a pioneer in the field of autism advocacy. She is an American animal behavior researcher, an author and a speaker featured in Islands of Genius by Darold Treffert, Asperger’s and Self-Esteem: Insight and Hope through Famous Role Models by Norm Ledgin and other publications. She is also the author of the famous motto "Different Not Less". Different Not Less is also a book by her - a compilation of success stories from adults with autism and Asperger's Syndrome. Temple was inducted to the National Women's Hall of Fame in February 2017 as one of only 10 women. She is also included on this list of Great Women of Our Time.
