Joshua Beckford (born 2004) is the youngest person who was ever admitted to Oxford University. He was admitted at age 6 (taking part in courses which were part of an online learning platform for gifted children) and gained distinctions in both Philosophy and History. Joshua is very talented in many other fields, but his main goal is to become a neurosurgeon. Joshua has also won numerous awards, including the Positive Role Model of the year at the National Diversity Awards in 2017. He is also an ambassador for Boys Mentoring Advocacy Network (BMAN), where he serves as Low Income Families Education (L.I.F.E) Support Ambassador for five countries; Nigeria, Ghana, Kenya, Uganda, and South Africa, as well as the United Kingdom, where Joshua was born.
